The laser level itself is super tough, the mount that it comes with is only secured by 3 microscopic screws, had a worker bump the laser and base of the mount ripped clean off.

I am a DIY person but thought this would come in handy when determining how much flooring I would need for a hallway or how much paint is needed for a room. Out of the box the tool was 100% accurate. There are so many features packed into this little tool I am not sure I will need to use them all. This LM 120A laser distance meter is a super value. I had lots of confidence in the Huepar name as I also have the Huepar 360 degree self leveling cross line laser GF 360G which also was a great value, super accurate and easy to use.
I bought it for basement improvements. I just installed my TV using laser level. This cut short my time to 50%. 5 years definitely gives a peace of mind.

It doesn't work well in cold weather. The tripod is cheap plastic, & slips out easily
